OUR EXCURSIONS

Mount Etna, the largest volcano in Europe and one of the most active in the world, rises to about 3,330 meters in height, with a base diameter of 45 km and a perimeter of over 160 km. Since 2013, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Accessible by car from both the North and South slopes, it offers unique experiences:

• North slope: less touristy, featuring wooded landscapes, trails from Piano Provenzana, craters from 2002, and 4×4 rides up to 3,347 meters with professional guides. In winter, you can ski with a sea view and explore over 200 caves.
• South slope: more touristy, from Rifugio Sapienza you can reach an altitude of 2,500 meters by cable car and nearly 3,000 meters by 4×4, enjoying volcanic landscapes without vegetation.

Just 2.5km away from our property, you can take a fantastic donkey excursion, a docile, patient and affectionate animal.
You will pass through vineyards, olive groves and chestnut groves, all the while enjoying splendid views of Mount Etna volcano.
The excursion, suitable for both children and adults, can be taken every day, from 09:00 to 20:00, with prior reservation and will last 1 or 2 hours, your choice.
You can also take the excursion on foot to accompany your children or friends.

To live a unique experience of flavor and familiarity! From the love of cooking and the desire to share one’s passion, the idea of a home cooking class, Mediterranean, traditional, using only simple and genuine products was born. In fact, the main ingredients of the dishes we will prepare are carefully selected from local and Km0 producers, using only fresh and excellent quality raw materials, starting with the main ingredient of our cuisine: the organic extra virgin olive oil that we have been producing for decades on our property and that you will have the opportunity to use and taste. By choosing this course you will be welcomed into our home, in a warm and familiar environment. You will also be able to participate in grocery shopping and, in particular, if you choose the fish menu, visit the fresh fish market in Riposto! Cooking classes can be arranged daily, either for lunch or dinner, with prior reservation.
