Mount Etna, the largest volcano in Europe and one of the most active in the world, rises to about 3,330 meters in height, with a base diameter of 45 km and a perimeter of over 160 km. Since 2013, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Accessible by car from both the North and South slopes, it offers unique experiences:
- North slope: less touristy, featuring wooded landscapes, trails from Piano Provenzana, craters from 2002, and 4×4 rides up to 3,347 meters with professional guides. In winter, you can ski with a sea view and explore over 200 caves.
- South slope: more touristy, from Rifugio Sapienza you can reach an altitude of 2,500 meters by cable car and nearly 3,000 meters by 4×4, enjoying volcanic landscapes without vegetation.
Both offer trekking, tours, and excursions. Contact us for information and prices: we’ll help you choose the perfect experience!
